Warranty Information

This page explains how warranty works at Bholat’s IT World, and how it differs from returns and from delivery-damage reports.

The specific warranty period for a product is shown on that product’s own page whenever the manufacturer or supplier has confirmed one. This page explains the general process — it does not set or guarantee any period itself.

Where to find a product’s warranty period

Check the product page for the item you bought. Where a warranty period has been confirmed, it is shown there. Not every product currently has a confirmed warranty period listed — if you can’t find one, contact us and we’ll confirm it for you.

Brand-new vs. certified refurbished stock

Warranty terms can differ between brand-new and certified refurbished stock of the same product. Always check the condition and warranty shown on the specific product page you purchased from, not a general assumption based on the product type.

Manufacturer vs. supplier warranty

Depending on the product, a warranty claim may be handled by us directly, or by referring you to the manufacturer’s own warranty process. We’ll tell you which applies when you contact us about a claim.

How to make a warranty claim

Submit a request choosing “Warranty-related issue,” with your order number, the product name, and a description of the fault (photos help). You can also contact us first if you’re not sure whether your issue is covered.

Inspection and assessment

Products submitted for a warranty claim are assessed to confirm the fault and whether it’s covered before a repair, replacement, or other outcome is agreed.

Data backup is your responsibility

Please back up any important data before submitting a device for a warranty claim. We cannot guarantee data will be preserved during inspection or repair.

What warranty does not cover

Warranty generally does not cover physical damage caused after delivery, liquid damage, unauthorised repair attempts, or normal wear on consumable parts and accessories. Exact exclusions depend on the specific manufacturer’s terms for that product.

Software issues

Software faults are generally handled differently from hardware faults, and may be directed to the software vendor’s own support channel rather than a hardware warranty claim.

Possible outcomes

  • Repair
  • Replacement (where a repair isn’t possible or practical)
  • Referral to the manufacturer’s own warranty process, where that applies

This is not the same as a return or delivery-damage report

If your product arrived faulty out of the box or damaged in transit, see Delivery Information. If you simply want to send back a product you no longer want, see Returns and Refunds.
